Fetch TV
- Go into Menu > Manage > Settings > Network
- You should now see something on the screen which mentions IP settings. Uncheck Automatic and check Manual
- Enter DNS 1 as [sign-up to get this number] and DNS 2 as [sign-up to get this number]Now restart your fetch TV and it will start using your new VIP DNS!
Note: Remember, if your IP address changes you must visit www.vipdnsclub.com/my-account to verify your new IP address at the click of a button (red bar up the top) and everything will work again.
Nexus Player / Android TV / Shield TV
- Turn on your Nexus Player and from the Home Screen, scroll down to Network Settings and select it.
- Then, select your Wi-Fi connection.
- Select ‘Advanced Options’.
- Select ‘IP Settings’
- Select ‘Static’, this will then require you to enter the manual network settings for your Nexus Player.
- Get your default gateway by using the Finding Your Network Gateway tip under Basic Info.
- Enter the first 3 sets of numbers eg if your gateway was 192.168.0.1 then enter 192.168.0
- Pick a random number less than 254 and add it to the end eg 192.168.0.250
- For the Gateway enter the full gateway address you got from step 6
- Next enter the Network Prefix Length, just enter ’24’.
- Then enter your DNS [sign-up to get this number] as your Primary and click ‘Next’, then leave the Secondary as [sign-up to get this number]
- From the settings Menu Click About then Reboot

Roku
If you have signed up with a Roku account without the Roku service enabled, you will have to unlink all devices, then Deactivate your account you will also have to use a different email for the signup process below.The Roku doesen’t allow you to change the DNS settings so you must enable our DNS servers in your router to do this just follow one of the guides in the router category.
- Perform a factory reset on you Roku, from the Home screen, go to Settings, Factory Reset and follow the prompts.
On you computer to https://owner.roku.com and create a new Roku Owner account (using an email address you have never used with Roku before). - When asked for payment details don’t use PayPal
- Make sure you use a US address when filling in the details, in particular, you need to enter a valid US ZIP code, if you don’t know one just use “90210”.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to setup your Roku. Make sure you connect your Roku to the network that has our DNS settings configured. When asked, select you region as “United States”. When you get to the activation screen, go to https://owner.roku.com/link to enter the link code displayed on your TV screen.
- You should now be able to add US channels to your Roku, either from the Roku website or from the Channel Store on the Roku itself.
FireTV
- From the Home screen go to settings
- Scroll accross to System and open it.
- Pick your WI-FI network and forget WI-FI network by Pressing the button with 3 lines on it.
- Press the select button.
- Pick your WI-FI network.
- Input your WI-FI password then Click on advanced.
- Get your default gateway by using the Finding Your Network Gateway tip under Basic Info.
- Enter the first 3 sets of numbers eg if your gateway was 192.168.0.1 then enter 192.168.0
- Pick a random number less than 254 and add it to the end eg 192.168.0.250
- Click next
- For the Gateway enter the full gateway address you got from step 7
- Click next
- For the Network Prefix put 24
- Click next
- For DNS 1 put [sign-up to get this number]
- Click next
- For DNS use googles [sign-up to get this number]
- Click Connect
If you have set up everything correctly but you are still getting a proxy error with Netflix, follow the below steps to get everything working again.
- Go to Settings, Applications, App Store and turn automatic updates off.
- Click back, click Manage Installed Applications.
- Go to Netflix and click Uninstall (if it is installed).
- Click home, go to search and type downloader.
- Click it from Apps and Games and download it (big orange icon).
- When ready open the downloader app, click Allow, and OK if the update notes show.
- Type the following url https://tinyurl.com/firestickvip and hit go.
- Once downloaded hit install and Open, Sign in and enjoy Netflix!
Apple TV
- Open up the Apple TV and go to the Settings > General > Network
- Then go ahead and select Wi-Fi for wireless network or Ethernet if you are using a wired connection. If you have not already setup a Wi-Fi connection you will have to choose your network and input your password for the Wi-Fi again if needed.
- Select Configure DNS and select Manual
- Enter [sign-up to get this number] and click Done
- On the Network screen please verify that the DNS numbers you have just entered are present.
- To make sure the US Apps are present on your Apple TV please go to the Settings > General >iTunes Store > Location
- Select United States
- Go to settings and select Sleep now
- Go ahead and Unplug the Apple TV power cord
- Wait ten seconds
- Plug the cable back in on your Apple TV

If you’re running netflix make sure you setup an account on your computer and not on the Apple TV.
